Whole Mazda CX

It is one of Australia's bestselling cars — one of our most valued and most driven light SUVs.

And Mazda's CX-3 has now had a comprehensive update. That brings new safety features, upgraded equipment and sharper tech across the entire CX-3 range.

+ For 2023, the range expands from the entry-level Sport to Pure, Evolve, Touring SP and top of the pile Akari.

+ Prices range from $26,800 to $38,620.

+ The front-drives all have a four-cylinder Skyactiv-G (G20) petrol engine, paired with Mazda's own Skyactiv-Drive six-speed automatic transmission.

+ There's also wireless Apple Carplay, which comes standard across the range, wired Android Auto, auto-folding power mirrors and remote window control.

Mazda Australia managing director Vinesh Bhindi says: "As the entry point into the Mazda SUV range, the CX-3 has a hugely important role to play. At this price point, buyers expect understated styling, extensive safety features, high specification and cutting-edge connectivity, which is exactly what our latest update delivers on."

The full Mazda CX-3 range goes on sale in September 2023.

THE RANGE

SPORT The new CX-3 Sport gets more standard equipment than ever, including 16-inch alloy wheels (the last model had steel), blind spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert.

PURE CX-3 Pure, which replaces Maxx Sport, now has LED lights front and rear, with daytime running lights and high-beam control, lane departure warning, driver attention alert and a heads-up display, enhancing safety and in-cabin comfort.

EVOLVE This model (which replaces Maxx Sport LE), in the middle of the range, gets 18-inch machined alloy wheels (replacing 16 inch) and front parking sensors. There's premium white leatherette and tan suede upholstery, giving the interior a strong character.

TOURING SP The Touring SP (previously sTouring) has sportier styling and 18-inch black machined alloy wheels. It gets a black painted roof and black leather. The "grand luxe" suede interior has blue highlights. The car has a black chrome wing and gloss black front grille. Front seats with two-position memory function (driver), 10-way power adjustment (driver) and heating function are now fitted, while Mazda Radar Cruise Control (MRCC) with Stop & Go function is added to the existing advanced keyless entry and traffic-sign recognition features.

AKARI The range-topping Akari has Bose premium audio with seven speakers, 18-inch black machined alloy wheels, a power sliding glass sunroof, 360-degree camera and adaptive LED headlights.

COLOUR

Aero Grey paint joins six other colours right across the range: Soul Red Crystal Metallic, Machine Grey Metallic, Polymetal Grey Metallic, Platinum Quartz Metallic, Jet Black Mica and Snowflake White Pearl Mica.
